Huye Town development takes off

After two storied buildings sprung up and a modern market built by Ingenzi cooperative in Huye town, other magnificent houses are yet to be built in this place.

While these three buildings completed in Huye stand near the tarmac road that passes through Butare town from Kigali to Bujumbura, the proposed buildings will be built on this main road.

Also, the Catholic Church plans to build a house near post office where ‘Igiti cy’ubugingo’ centre was operating from.

Where CUSP health centre stands, Imanzi Investment Group (association for workers and lecturers at Butare National University) plans to build a private hospital.

Imanzi Investment Group also plans to build a big commercial house where former Butare province headquarters were.

Groupe Scolaire des Parents plans to build a storied vocational centre in Huye town.

Huye Town

While Ibis Hotel has made a step renovating its premises, Hotel Faucon is set to kick off renovation. Another big house is to be built where Sonarwa, Zigama CSS, Ecobank and KCB have been operating from.

Other buildings under construction in Huye town include BNR (National Bank of Rwanda), a market being built by Abisungaye cooperative and many others.

As the second town in Rwanda, Huye town will be incomparable once all the above buildings and four star hotels are completed as explains Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi.
